The Beginning

From the enormous darkness and nothingness, a tremendous vortex existed. It continued to swirl around the dark forces that it sucked Ania, the god boredom, and Monaxia, the soul of loneliness. The vortex spit out Ania and Monaxia because the two forces made the vortex weak due to their negative energies. Ania got bored and he was sick of his wife Monaxia who only wanted to be alone forever. Ania roamed around the dark edges of nothingness and cried for his lonely wife. His tears brought out Pleasure and Pain. They appeared to be golden showers in the universe dancing like fairies.

Ania imprisoned Pleasure and Pain in a box he molded from darkness. He went to Monaxia and offered the box to her so that she will not feel lonely anymore. However, as the wife opened the box, both of loneliness and boredom vanished. Their particles scattered to the darkness and it became the beautiful stars in the dark.

The Birth of Sex and Love

Out of Pleasure and Pain, Libido emerged. Libido is the god of sex and fertility. The positive energy that sex possessed had driven loneliness and boredom away. The vortex continued to swirl endlessly. Libido advised Pleasure and Pain to not come near the vortex. In order to give a living light to the universe, they created Love out of Libido’s heart.

Pleasure and Pain admired Love so much that they wanted Libido to own her. Pleasure arranged them to a marriage and Pain declared the two as the rulers of the universe. Pleasure and Pain became the servants of Libido; while Love gave birth to feelings such as anger, disgust, fear, joy, lust, sadness, and jealousy.

Sex is wild and free, while love is passionate and tamed in peace. The ardent union between Libido and Love produces the roaring fire. The fire melted the coldness of the primordial darkness. Libido and Love also brought out desire in the world. The magical union of the divine couple gave birth to a clash of feelings brought by insatiable needs.

The fire burnt the eyes of Pleasure and Pain that they cried ceaselessly. Their tears brought out water in the world. The water almost extinguished the fire in the universe. The two elements clashed with each other, forming a massive piece of the extinguished fire in which Love named it land. The scalding water created vapors that floated in the air forming the azure sky.

The Creations of Pleasure and Pain

Pleasure and Pain giggled at the new creations of Libido and Love. One day, Pleasure played with a massive ball of fire. It was so hot that Pleasure threw it to the sky and it became the sun. Pain wanted to create something useful to impress Love and Libido so; she got a small piece of land and tried to mold something from it. However, she could not end up with anything that she wept out of frustration. Her divine tears dropped to the piece of land she was trying to create. A luminous light showered the earth, and Pain saw the moon ascending to the sky like a soul destined to rest in heaven.

She ran to Love and Libido to inform them about her creation but they were too busy with each other that Pain felt neglected and descended into the vortex.

The Vortex

Pain thought that the vortex was dangerous but what she saw was far more than what Libido said to them. It was chaotic inside. Pain could not take the chills brought by the absence of light and so, she gave birth to suffering and depression to accompany her in the dark. The vortex possessed various forces and feelings that it feels heavy by just setting a foot inside its glory. When she was about to leave the vortex, she met Ignosi, the goddess of knowledge, and Ischyros, the god of power.

These two deities came first before Love and Libido existed. The vortex imprisoned them out of chaos because knowledge and power are too dangerous.

Ignosi knew why Pain dived in the vortex. She advised him to kill Love so that he could have Libido’s attention. Ischyros also told Pain that Pleasure will hinder her plans forever. Pain went out of the vortex with little knowledge and power from the universe. She planned to kill Love but Pleasure hindered her and inflicted an inevitable sensation that Pain never felt before. They quarreled with each other that even Anger and Disgust joined them.

Love heard their screams but she could not do anything about it. As the feelings quarreled with each other, Love weakens. Libido could not feel Love’s presence when he opened his eyes one morning. He only saw Lust and Sadness in the dark.

He descended to earth to find his queen. If Love vanished, he will die because Love possessed his heart.

The Reign of Knowledge and Power

Libido felt crestfallen for not seeing Love anymore. He missed the warmth of her touch, the sweetness of her lips, and the feeling of fulfillment that only Love could give. While sulking in the vast ocean, Libido heard voices nearby and he saw Ignosi and Ischyros. Ignosi laughed at Libido and told him about his nakedness. She mocked him for being insatiable and wild. Libido could not speak out of embarrassment and drowned himself in the water. Unconsciously, he gave birth to modesty.

Ischyros told Ignosi that he imprisoned Love in the heart of the vortex where all the feelings dwell. Ischyros proposed to seize the power in the universe. The latter agreed and they became the new rulers of the world.

Ignosi saw the imperfections of Love and Libido’s creations. She planted the tree of wisdom from the strand of her hair and made the river of life and death out of her divine veins. Every day, a new life sprang out of the river of life but Ignosi felt disappointed because none of her creations project logical reasoning. The fish could swim but could not walk. The terrestrials could walk but don’t know how to reason. The plants and trees could provide peace but they never exhibit the ability of producing knowledge.

The Creation of Angelio and Angelie

Ischyros created Charassen, the god of character to guard the tree of wisdom. He told Charassen that no one could possess wisdom without having good character.

One night, Ignosi fell asleep and in her dreams, Phren emerged. Phren is the embodiment of mind. Ignosi made love to Phren. From their union, Logus and Soul existed. When Ignosi woke up, she saw a beautiful young man. He was covered in her blood, which means that the man came out of the river of life. Ignosi asked the man about his name. She was looking for the man’s ability to produce language. The man told her that he was a son of Libido but the river gave him life. He told her that he bores the name Angelio.

Ignosi led Angelio to the tree of wisdom but Charassen chased him away. Angelio needs to have character and Charassen advises Ischyros and Ignosi to create a complete opposite of man out of Love’s hands. So, Ischyros freed Love from the vortex and ordered her to mold a woman. With the presence of Love, Libido rose from the sea and he penetrated the soul of Angelio so that he could escape from the eyes of Ignosi.

Love molded the first woman but her feelings made the woman’s heart possessed both the good and evil of the world. Ischyros imprisoned Love in the soul of Angelie, the first woman on earth. With Libido’s absence, the woman feels incomplete and that she is destined to find her man to satisfy her soul. In another page, the man needs a woman to build his character in order to possess wisdom.

Love and Libido finally found each other as souls of man and woman in the world. Ignosi gave humans knowledge but Charassen only allowed the mortals to have wisdom only if they reached the stage of having good character through living life and learning from the world. The humans took care of the world created by the gods and Ignosi ordered Phren and Logus to guard and guide them in life.
